I hope that you all have been enjoying the holiday. I know that I have. I have taken some much needed time off from my day job and have just enjoyed being home.
This little mug has gotten quite a workout over the past week I am happy to say!
Being home though for me can be a double edge sword though, because I look around and see all the projects that I want to do here at the cottage. Oh how I make poor Daniel's head hurt and perhaps his back too at times. Well, that's according to my boys, anyway. When this happens Daniel says that I am "fluttering" and yes it makes him anxious. As you already know, relaxing is very hard for me.
I must say this past week I have gotten better at it. We haven't really accomplished much here at the cottage, just a little organization here and there, a wee bit of shopping and a lot of relaxing on the couch and catching up with Netflix. Though with thoughts of a list of new year resolutions fluttering in my head.
I did hear something on the news the other night that said that you should only have one new years resolution in order to acheive it. Wow! Talk about wasted brain power! With that news flash I have decided to scale it back to three resolutions. I think that a type"A" personality person like me should be easily able to achieve three new years resolutions. Right?
Then I started doing some soul and goggle searching and found the three that easily define what I want my year to be like. Of course to each one of them I have like three or four other things tied to them, but I won't bore you with that, at least now anyways.
I like that it says find three "Hobbies". I recently read an old article from Organize Yourself Skinny and to me it made prefectly good sense and I think it is a good thought to apply in other areas of my life too. (This is a blog that I read alot and follow on Facebook. Give it a whirl you will be glad you did.)
So here is my reolsuitions list-
*Make Money-I love my day job, so that will be my make money.
*Keep in shape- That will be the new pilates reformer that Dan and I picked up on Facebook for a $100 bucks! Loving it.
*Creative will be here-blogging and developing "Triple R Creations" into what Dan and I dream of doing together as we are traveling all over the world enjoying life.
So here is to a healthy, happy, loving and creative 2017 to you all my friends.
